Hampyeong Eco Park has been developed as an ecological experience/learning venue under the theme of “Butterflies and dragon flies in the sky, flowers and orchids on the ground, and aquatic plants and fish in water” to enlighten people about nature’s value and leave it to future generations through the preservation of a clean natural environment, protection of endangered animals and plants, and exhibition/viewing/experience programs.

With 7 exhibition facilities, including ‘Butterfly/Insect Specimen Exhibition Hall’ and ‘Butterfly/Caterpillar Ecology Hall, 16 viewing facilities, including ’Aquatic Insect Observation/Learning Center’ and ‘Asian Black Bear Observatory,’ and 9 convenience facilities, including ‘Observation Tower’ and ‘Byeokcheon Fall,’ the Korea Orchid Festival is held in spring at the Hampyeong Eco Park, which serves as an ecological experience/learning center.
